Your responsibilities

• Implementation and execution of the project(s) according to the co-financing contract and Welthungerhilfe standards
• Adaptation and development of project planning including project budgets
• Acquisition of management tasks
• Responsibility for regular cash controls and financial reports
• Ensuring personnel safety of seconded and national employees through realization of the safety concepts
• Preparation of annual country programme reports
• Responsibility for project procurement in accordance with the approved procurement plan and in compliance with internal and external procurement guidelines
• Representation of Welthungerhilfe in local and international meetings

Your profile

• A university or polytechnic degree in a relevant field
• A minimum of 5 years professional experience in international development cooperation and in advanced agricultural work (preferably in the fields of climate adaptation, greenhouse facilities, animal husbandry, food storage and processing systems)
• Extensive proven management experience
• Excellent coordination and organizational skills
• Ability to cooperate and work in a team
• Willingness to travel in areas with volatile local conditions
• Good command of spoken and written English and German
