ACTIVITIES, DELIVERABLES AND TIMELINES, PLUS BUDGET PER DELIVERABLE
Key results to be achievement through the present consultancy include:
Provide quality support to the PSP section to ensure effective engagement with UNICEF donors and partners, and ultimately increase donors and partners retention.
Develop a database of UNICEF-Egypt private sector engagement initiatives.
Provide quality support to ensure availability of up-to-date partnership resources, such as presentation, case-studies, reports.
Develop appropriate communication material for private sector partnerships with guidance from communication.
Coordinate with the External Communication section to fulfill all the needs for a partnership.

PAYMENT

Up-to-date private sector partnership resources and materials abiding by UNICEF editorial and branding guidelines, readily available for external and internal use, as required by:

  • Providing in the development of funding proposal, partnership briefs, presentations, detailed project summaries and private-sector-friendly concept notes
  • Producing ready-to- use communication briefs on partnerships to be used by UNICEF personnel and for external communication purposes, with the general objective to give increased visibility to private sector partnerships.
  • Developing case-studies on existing private sector partnerships to be used by PSP with the objective of documenting ECO’s work
  • Developing and maintaining a database of all PFP partnerships, donations/proposals by all current and prospective partners.
  • Developing appropriate communication for partnerships in coordination with communication.
  • Liaising with Communication in PFP to get the necessary guidance and clearance.

Ongoing throughout the consultancy period (4 months)

Monthly salary 18, 400 EGP

 

Visibility and awareness of UNICEF’s partnerships increased by:

  • Developing and implementing communication activities for the partnerships and reporting on the results of campaigns.
  • Maintaining the effective profiling of partners through UNICEF external communication channels (website, social media channels and traditional media) to ensure visibility and recognition of partner investment.

Ongoing throughout the consultancy period (4 months)

Well-coordinated support to communication functions and happenings by:

  • Supporting in planning and coordination of joint communication activities and events with communication agencies and External Communication team for UNICEF Egypt’s corporate partners.

QUALIFICATIONS, SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
Education: Secondary school education is the minimum requirement.
Experience: At least two years of professional experience working in an environment with private sector fundraising or contact, including familiarity with private sector fundraising methodologies will be an asset: corporate FR, web, new media and TV fundraising.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (required) and Arabic (preferred).
CONDITIONS OF WORK
The consultant will be office-based and will require a laptop.
