Job Description
Purpose of the job:
To provide sustenance to Project implementation through collaboration with the Project Manager and all stakeholders, resulting the project attaining its objectives through working with companies receiving advisory and other support under IAP.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist IAP Zambia Portfolio coordinator in fund management: timely tracking disbursement timelines, and  conducting preliminary review of submissions and provide support for investees
Assist in monitoring, learning and evaluation activities, including the development of case studies, fact sheet lessons learnt of good practices
Support in organising training events and the development of the training content
Assist the advisory and investment match making work under the leadership of the IAP Zambia portfolio manager
Providing adhoc financial management support to investees
Duties not limited to the above.
Qualifications
Academic & professional qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
University graduated in following: Economics, Business, Finance, Commerce, International development, Agronomy, etc.
Minimum of 3 years full time work experience in a relevant area with private sector development related projects in Zambia
Interest in private sector development and fight against poverty and inequality
Initiative and creative in solving problems
Ability to work independently and with the team
High degree of initiative, flexibility, reliability, discretion and willingness to learn;
Good oral and written communication skills in English.
Solid computer skills in Excel and Power Point
Willing to travel to other provinces
