Job Title: Supervisor Content & Copyright – IRC20558
Division: CONSUMER
Department: Marketing
Mission/ Core purpose of the Job:
•Create, write and edit costumer specific marketing content for a wide variety of topics and output channels (e.g. brochures, mailings, websites, social media …)
•To create a distinctive, coherent and consistent positioning for the MTN brand on digital against direct and indirect competitors in the marketplace, ensure that the MTN value proposition to each segment is clearly captured in our digital & content strategy
Key Performance Areas:
Global content strategy
•Develop the global content strategy aligned with the marketing targets
•Define strategic approach for digital content across all segments.
•Timely delivery of annual business plan in line with Marketing target for digital communication.
•Clear and effective Quarterly plans submission & execution
•Develop original idea ad content  to support digital channel to promote
•Support writing content concepts and strategies, considering the ability to align company and brand strategies
•Create and animate any kind of content – (e.g. articles, blog posts, product videos, animation videos, white papers, interviews, landing pages, case studies, newsletters, content platform, press materials, press releases, bylined articles, white papers, videos, …. your content format has no limits)
•Digital content effectiveness measures. Campaign/Content  effectiveness (measured based on specific objectives assigned to each campaign)
Day to Day tasks
•Collaborate with the marketing team to create and publish engaging content  and Develop an editorial calendar
•Collaborate with teams across the organization to create consistently powerful copy that is in line with our brand guidelines across company touch points: marketing communication, products, website, etc.
•Timely delivery of needed content to nurture digital channel. Quality of content and copyright / Evaluation from others department
•Develop creative content material and tools
•Be a creative force: on top of the industry trends, suggest topics and determine content themes that align with strategic business objectives & local needs to capture attention and increase engagement
•Think creation in terms of brand image and spirit, and not only visibility and productivity
•Take part in the technical writing & production to support the creative team
•Participation in other PR projects e.g.: magazine when required
Quality content create and  copyright
•Competition overview
•Monitor competitors’ contents and users’ interests
•Internal & external stakeholder management
•Schedule and manage meeting with key stakeholders to identify topics,themes and internal and external contributors
•Regular meeting to define priority & objectives
Minimum job-related educational qualification required
•Degree or Diploma Design and/ or digital communication
•Degree or Diploma Marketing Communications
Minimum years relevant experience required for this position:
•A minimum of 18 months’ experience in digital and content creator  function
•Minimum of 6 months -3 years’ experience developing and providing creative marketing materials, preferably in Creative agency, telecoms industry or very dynamic FMCG environment
•Understanding and writing for digital communication touch points

Important competencies required for the position:
•Understanding of principles and tools to develop creative artwork through Adobe Apps : Know how to use Adobe’s creative software-specifically Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
•Creative, passionate and committed writer with a love of writing exciting stories
•Organizational skills: be able to work independently, handle several projects at once and meet deadlines
•Excellent written and spoken presentation skills, strong attention to detail as well as having the talent of connecting dots between graphic, text and strategy
•Be able to think in our customers shoes: create stories, strongly regarding our customer needs and interests
•Be creative -Come up with new ideas and innovate designs is essential
•Communicate with your stakeholders: you should be able to listen well, process feedback and explain design element
•Understand Typography, the ability to make written language legible and visually appealing
•Develop Interactive media, design materials that actively engage user such as animation, video, audio-
•Have basic understanding of HTML- Specifically Java and C++
•Have good understanding and experience in production & Postproduction ( Creation of short video)
•Strong knowledge of the Telco environment & business in term of branding and social media
•Deliver presentation to take complex stories and present it in a clear way
•Competent in the use of cameras & lenses
•Know how to read and use Corporate identity ( CI)
•Multitasking: ability to work on several campaigns at the same time without sacrificing timing, effectiveness and quality
•Market & competitor analysis:  ability to carry out audit of creative brand position in the market, comparative creative brand strength, identify creative material opportunities
•Planning & organization : ability to plan ahead, organize work in structured manner, with clear priorities and focus
